Red House Band Members
Al - Lead Guitar and Vocals - Originally from San Francisco, Al has been
playing music for over 30 years in Bay Area bands. Al has 18 guitars,
some hand made for him, some hand made by him. He has a music
studio in his home. Al's guitar influences include Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck,
Jimmy Page, and Eric Clapton.
David - Drums - David founded Red House in 2004 with Al. He started
playing drums at age 16 and was inspired by The Fillmore, Winterland,
Avalon performances of the Jefferson Airplane, Santana, Quicksilver, the
Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin with Big Brother, Led Zeppelin, and Cream.
David's drumming influences include Sandy Nelson, Michael Shrieve, and
Ginger Baker.
Gioioa - Lead Vocals - Gioioa grew up in a musical family in San Francisco
and began singing at age 9. Her vocals have been influenced by a myriad
of musical inspirations including Johnny Mathis, Janis Joplin and Elvis
Presley. Gioioa has toured the country professionally as a vocalist, and
has performed in many venues both large and small.
Michael - Bass Guitar - Michael is from Pacific Grove and started playing
when he was 18. He's had experience performing folk music, punk and
new wave, ska, rockabilly, alternative country, psychedelic 60's, and of
course classic rock. Michael is very down to earth and his solid bass
style holds a groove and anchors the band.
